Have you ever invented something? If so, congratulations. The world could use more people like you, simply because not many people have the power to act upon their ideas.
Have you ever thought of inventing something? I bet you did. There is a good reason we have ideas: our brain is trying to show us a way, a new way, to do things around here.
So, next time pay close attention to your ideas. Treat them like your best friends:
Write them down: on paper, on personal pages (from web communities), on blogs »» making them public will increase the chances of making them come true. It’s very comforting to find out how many people think the same way and are willing to give you feedback.
Develop your ideas: start by thinking big and build ideas from there, on each subject.
Test them against time and reality »» this we separate good ideas from stupid ones.
Run them by your friendly, family, colleagues and see what they think »» do not delete the ideas that do not appeal to others; they might just not understand your point of view.
Share your ideas: let others inspire from your ideas. Increase other people´s power to put the whole concept into practice (unless You want to put them into practice).
If you ever wonder what to do next in life, open your Great Book of Ideas and read them out loud. Do you feel an impulse to start something new? Just do it, starting right then and there. You can change your life or the life of others.
Starting from today, write down every idea that comes to your mind: ideas, improvements for your life, house, work, future, goods, movies, music etc. In the end, it will be worth it. Just look at 10 worst ideas & inventions of 2008 or watch Discovery Science´s Patent Bending. This should give you an idea .
You can also start by writing your ideas in this section of the blog. I’m sure someone will see them and think about them. After that….the rest is history.
